2018-2019 Newsletters

12 April 2019

Dear Parents

We have come to the end of a very long Spring Term with everyone ready for the Easter break.

Staffing News
When we return after Easter, Miss Johnson will have become Mrs Newton and we wish her and her new husband every happiness. I am sure the children will soon adapt to the name change (much more quickly than the adults!)
The end of the term also marks the end of Mrs Aston’s time with the school after 29 years of loyal service and I should like to sincerely thank her for this and wish her every success in the future.

Y6 Residential Visit 2019
All parents of current Y5 children should now have received the information regarding the Y6 Residential Visit for November 2019. If you haven’t, please contact Miss Lee in the office. Thank you.

Y5 Cake Sale
There was a delicious array of cakes available after school today, thank you to everyone who came and made a purchase. We will let you know how much was raised after the Easter break.

Attendance Update
This week’s winners of the attendance awards are as follows:
A* Attendance: 2B with 99.26%
Pride in Punctuality: RY with 1 late
Today 148 children received a sticker for 100% attendance with no lates this half term. Children who have had 100% attendance since January and have not been late in that time will receive their certificates when we return from the Easter break.
