We are loving having Santa’s Elf in the class. He is behaving very well and after checking the book shelf brought us in some more Christmas stories to share and held a clinic at the Doctors for all the poorly bears and children. We have been looking at describing words (adjectives) to help us describe the Elf and saying our strong sentences to describe what he looks like.
The children have chosen to change the role-play this week into a doctors surgery. The phone keeps ringing and there is always a long wait in the reception area to see the doctor or nurse.
In cookery we made jam tarts and mince pies. We liked the jam tarts the best.
Thank you to all the parents for attending the Talking sessions with Beth.
The sun shone and we had fun doing our Santa Dash today singing along to the festive music. We all ran or walked more than a mile in our Santa Hats. Thank you for all the sponsorships.
